Welcome! Here you will find info on how to prepare for your class, the class waiver, parking, what to wear, how to reschedule/cancel, and how to pick up your class work

Class Waiver

Your class waver is mandatory for your first class it needs to be filled out before you can start your class. So that you can enjoy more time during your class time fill it out before arriving by using the button below. 

Prepare for you Class 

We have everything you need for your class though we have some recommendations for what to wear and other things you may want to bring for some of the classes. Please choose the button below that matches the type of class you're taking. 

Arriving to class

Parking. There are designated parking spots in front of our facility. The spots are marked with signs indicating "Public Glass Parking" please do not park where there are signs that say no parking. There is also free parking across the street that is in front of an apartment complex. Street cleaning applies on the apartment side on Fridays. 

When you enter Public Glass you will be in the Gallery . Please enjoy the Artwork while waiting for your teacher because they will come find you in there. 

Rescheduling & Cancelations 

Incase you or your class needs to be rescheduled please press the button below to read the policy and get help with that.

Hopefully you enjoyed a fun class. Please take a bit of time to fill out our Student Survey. 

Pick Up Schedule

Thank you for taking a class with us. Any Glassblowing, Flameworking, Fusing, or Casting pieces have to be put into a kiln for a cooling process therefore can not go home with you the day of your class. If you press the button below you will see the schedule of when your piece will be ready.

Hot Shop & Flameworking 

Please wear closed toed shoes and bring a water bottle. Also great if you can wear natural fabric clothings. For anyone with long hair please bring something to tie your hair up with. Enjoy your class!

Fusing, Slumping, & Stained glass  

Please wear closed toed shoes and bring a water bottle. Enjoy your class!

Casting 

Please bring your half face Respirator with 100P filters or N-95 mask (no KN-95's), wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty. A water bottle is recommended. Enjoy your class!

Coldworking 

​Please bring your half face Respirator with 100P filters or N-95 mask (no KN-95's), wear closed-toed (possibly waterproof) shoes, clothing that is not loose or dangling, something to tie up long hair, and clothes that can get wet. A water bottle is recommended. Enjoy your class!

Cancellation Policy

For help with your booking please contact info@publicglass.org.

Cancellation Policy: No credit or refund can be issued if a cancellation occurs 9 days or less before your class date. This helps us guarantee stable wages for our hard-working artist instructors. If a cancellation occurs 10 days or more before the start of class, please submit a written request to operations@publicglass.org as soon as you know of a possible conflict. Your account will be credited with the cost of the class. You can apply this credit to a future class, our online shop, or event. Please email operations@publicglass.org to use the credit on your account. Excessive rescheduling will result in an administrative fee. ​

Online class registration closes 2 days before the first session. For late registration, questions or guidance on our programs, please email us at: info@publicglass.org.

As a small nonprofit, our goal is to keep access to the studios affordable and to employ the independent artists who have committed to teach you. Monetary refunds are issued at the discretion of management. In the rare case that we are able to issue a refund, our processing platforms will keep a minimum of 10% non-refundable fees. Keeping the credit on your account is highly encouraged. It ensures that you get to keep 100% of your credit while supporting our artists and community.

Teacher Survey 

Let us know if you want Pay or Trade and how the equipment is doing. This is very important to getting you want you need for teaching and constantly improving the studio.
